1984 - What is now the SR® Institute was established in conjunction with Barry Brenner MD PhD.
1986 - Focus of the company significantly changed directions to the science of human behavior. Kelly formed relationships with several psychologists and began the development of the SR® process.
1989 - The first iteration or the SR® process was introduced with very significant results.
1990 - The SR® process was introduced into psychiatric care. Kay Pitzenberger, MA who was head of the women's program recommended it be integrated into the hospital.
1992 - The first clinical study was performed over a 5 day period with a 55% reduction in depression symptoms. RJ Koval MD, BSP, was the administrator. Jason Pharmaceuticals did the statistical analysis.
1998 - Kelly released his first book.
2001 - Kelly started Certifications for the SR® process.
2002 - Kelly released his second book
2004 - Kelly released his third book
2005 - Kelly released the current version of the SR® Workbook for Adults with a complete instruction set and Step 7 audio. The Guidelines for his Certified Coaches was also heavily revised
2007 - Kelly released the SR® Workbook Ages 7-17
2008 - Kelly released the SR® Workbook for Warriors
2009 - After authoring 9 books over 25 years and significantly increasing the number of Certified SR® Coaches the company prepares to take on NIMH, mental health and the life coaching disciplines by establishing a new standard with SR®
